Hey, this is just a quick email to say that it's official, we swore in on Wednesday night at the Ambassador's mansion.  Highlights were televised and on the radio -- Seriously!

 

I'm off to post tomorrow morning, and may not be able to write until Christmas.  A group of us are convening in the north to fete it together.  I've just shelled out mucho deneiro to get my house set up -- huge bed, matress, dining table and chairs, pots & pans, plates, the whole shebang, and I still have more furniture to order. 

 

And, I bought a cell, that is currently having problems receiving calls (it's a new number for the network apparently.  But, I can get text messages no problem, and if I have your cell, I've already texted you, cuz it only costs me about 20 cents to do it!  Sister, and anyone else who hasn't heard from me it's cuz I need your cell number...

There's, as always, a lot to write, but I gotta go -- hopefully I can write more later.  Deb, did you get my last email?  Kath, thanks for all your great messages, and for all the other people who responded to my last email.  Ya know, I'm a lot more inspired to write these long tales of adventure (and banality) if I hear back with words of excitement and encouragement.  I'm just saying...
